Content Manager

This role will primarily focus on maintaining the Hearts of Ukraine website  and updating it  with new and relevant content using WordPress platform.  This role will be working closely with the core  team and social media marketing team on regularly  gathering updated content, information about donation drives and  current events and updating the company’s website. As our operations will grow,  the content manager will need to work with designers and developers to expand content and create new pages.

Overall, a content manager plays a pivotal role in creating and managing compelling content that engages and resonates with the target audience, while also driving organizational goals and maintaining brand consistency.

Grant Writer

A grant writer is responsible for preparing and submitting proposals to secure funding from various sources, such as government agencies, foundations, corporations, or nonprofit organizations. Their main objective is to successfully acquire grants to support the financial needs of an organization or specific projects. Here is a breakdown of the key responsibilities and skills typically associated with a grant writer:

  • Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission, goals, and programs. This includes staying updated on grant databases, funding trends, and eligibility criteria.
  • Craft persuasive and compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate the project’s objectives, activities, budget, and expected outcomes.
    Manage the complete grant application process, including preparing all necessary documents, such as letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and supporting materials. 
  • Cultivate relationships with funders, attending networking events, and maintaining regular communication to foster partnerships and potential funding opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and testimonials that support the grant proposals.
  • The candidate should possess  strong writing skills to effectively communicate the organization’s mission, goals, and programmatic impact. Writing concise, clear, and compelling narratives that address funder requirements and demonstrate the organization’s capacity to deliver results. 

 

Event Coordinator

Monitor themed Events around Bay Area and reach out to organizer to inquire about exposure time or book a spot for the promotional stand.

Identify and coordinate volunteers who would go to the event representing Hearts for Ukraine.

Manage and prepare marketing materials for the event: poster, summary of our work, PowerPoint, merchandize and giveaways.
